KWM Strategic Review
17th August 2026

The last strategic review was carried out in 2021. We have analysed the developments since the immediate post COVID objectives were set and have seen how Kent Workplace Mission has grown and developed in that time. We have recruited a second Lead Chaplain to cover East Kent.
There are some things that will always be our priority, such as setting up and supporting chaplaincy services in workplaces across Kent, Medway, and the London Boroughs of Bromley and Bexley. We will continue to liaise with churches and faith groups, Churches Together and local businesses and partnerships. We will focus on recruiting, training and supporting our volunteer chaplains, including continuing training, mental health training and spiritual refreshment.
However, we would like to know from you how Kent Workplace Mission can move forward in the next five years. We have prepared a quick to answer questionnaire with questions aimed at our chaplains, trustees, service users and donors. It also gives an overview of the previous strategic review and an opportunity to have your say about KWM’s future. The results will be shared with our members and help us form priorities for KWM in the future. We will select a sample of chaplains, trustees, service users and donors to receive the questionnaire. If you would like to volunteer to receive one, or have any questions or comments, please contact penny@kentworkplacemission.org
